Calling all SMEs and Startups! In a collaboration between Enterprise Singapore and key Nordic corporates, they invite startups and SMEs to embark on an exciting journey to address the pressing innovation needs of the Nordic market!
By participating, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Nordic region by developing innovative solutions that prioritise the quality and sustainability of businesses and communities. Your proposals should aim to improve quality and sustainability, leading to positive transformations in both the business sector and local communities.

- How might they develop innovative solutions to track the sustainability footprint of ABB’s motors, and leverage this data to enhance their internal design process for developing new motors that prioritise sustainability factors?
- How might they effectively reduce bubble formation during the door-foaming process in Electrolux’s freezers and fridges to enhance product quality?
- How might they innovate new solutions in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to enhance Electrolux’s detection methods for identifying cracks and bubble formation in plastics and foam components, aiming to improve the quality and reliability of their materials and products?
- How might they innovate new solutions to enable Electrolux to effectively test and ensure the resilience of their appliances against fluctuating electricity grid conditions, including pulses and surges, caused by the growing number of appliances connected to the grid?

Eligibility Criteria
- The Challenge is open to all startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs). All applicants/entrants/participants (“Participants”) must be above the age of 18 years old as at the date of entry and must submit their project proposals (“Project Proposals”) detailing their solution to a particular challenge statement (“Challenge Statement”) launched under the Challenge.
- Employees, representatives, and family members of the Joint Organisers should declare such relationships to the Joint Organisers that they are submitting their Project Proposals to.
- Project Proposals with solutions that have received funding from other programs run by government agencies or statutory boards should declare the funding received and project details to the Organiser.
- Institutes of Higher Learning and Research Institutes may only participate by either:
- Registering a new spin-off to license the technology, led by a committed and capable team; or
- Submitting a joint proposal with a startup/SME (the startup/SME has to co-develop the solution, lead the proposal submission and eventually commercialise the proposed solution).
