The Bob and Diane Fund seeks submissions from visual storytellers on stories about Alzheimer's Disease or dementia.

The Bob and Diane Fund Grant is a $5,000 grant opportunity for visual storytellers who are working on projects about Alzheimer's Disease or dementia. The themes of this grant are intimate stories of loss and broader works that highlight the urgency of the growing medical crisis.

The grant is looking for projects that need support to be completed, published, or exhibited. To apply, photographers must submit a 250-500 word essay in English that explains their project, its personal importance, and how the grant will help them complete it. They also need to submit a bio or CV, personal contact information, and 15-25 images. The images must be 72dpi, RGB, 3000 pixels on the long side, in JPEG format, with captions for each image. The photographer's name should not be included in the image captions.

All application materials should be combined into a single ZIP file labeled with the applicant's initials and uploaded to the provided Dropbox folder. Previous grant participants are encouraged to re-submit but should refresh their proposals. The deadline for submissions for the 2025 grant is September 21, 2025, with submissions opening on August 1, 2025. The winner will be announced in November 2025.
